Zoom setup — step by step

ज़ूम सेटअप — चरण-दर-चरण

1. Connect the camera. Camera HDMI out → capture device → laptop USB. In Zoom: click your profile picture → Settings → Video → Camera → select the capture device (e.g., "Cam Link 4K").
2. Enable HD video. In the same Video settings, tick the box called HD.
3. Stay muted. In the meeting, keep the microphone button crossed out (muted) for the entire event.
4. Rename yourself. Participants → hover over your name → More → Rename → type "City – Venue Name" (e.g., "Jaipur – Community Hall").
5. If the connection drops, rejoin the meeting immediately using your backup 4G/5G hotspot.

1. कैमरा जोड़ें। कैमरे का HDMI आउट → कैप्चर डिवाइस → लैपटॉप का USB। ZOOM में: प्रोफ़ाइल फ़ोटो पर क्लिक करें → Settings (सेटिंग) → Video (वीडियो) → Camera (कैमरा) → कैप्चर डिवाइस चुनें (उदाहरण: "Cam Link 4K")।
2. HD वीडियो चालू करें। उसी Video सेटिंग में HD वाले बॉक्स पर टिक करें।
3. म्यूट रहें। पूरे कार्यक्रम के दौरान मीटिंग में माइक्रोफ़ोन बटन कटा हुआ (म्यूट) रखें।
4. अपना नाम बदलें। Participants (प्रतिभागी) → अपने नाम पर जाएँ → More → Rename → "शहर – स्थल का नाम" लिखें (उदाहरण: "जयपुर – कम्युनिटी हॉल")।
5. यदि कनेक्शन टूट जाए, तो अपने बैकअप 4G/5G हॉटस्पॉट से तुरंत मीटिंग में दोबारा जुड़ें।

During the livestream

प्रसारण के दौरान

• Each venue may be shown live for approximately 20–30 seconds. Your exact time slot will be shared in advance.
• Join the Zoom meeting at least 45 minutes before your slot for a full technical check of the camera chain.
• Camera work: open on a steady wide shot of the venue and stage → then a slow, smooth pan across the audience to capture the excitement → return to the wide shot. No fast pans, no zooming in and out.
• Keep the camera manned and ready throughout your slot — the moment the host spotlights you, your venue is live to everyone.
• Stay muted at all times. No speaking or interaction — the host controls the broadcast.
• Cues via Zoom audio: the camera operator should keep the meeting audio on (through a headset or earpiece, not the room speakers) and listen for the host's spoken cue to trigger each camera movement (wide shot → pan to audience → back to wide), exactly as practiced in rehearsal. The host's voice is the operator's signal for when to move the camera — no visual cue will be given.
• Rehearse the camera moves (wide → audience pan → wide) several times before the event, so the operator is familiar with the cues and timing.

• पूरे समय के दौरान कैमरा संचालित और तैयार रखें। जिस क्षण मेज़बान (होस्ट) आपका ज़िक्र (स्पॉटलाइट) करे, आपका स्थल सबके सामने लाइव दिखेगा।
• हर समय म्यूट रहें। कोई बोलना या बातचीत नहीं, प्रसारण का नियंत्रण मेज़बान (होस्ट) के पास है।
• ZOOM ऑडियो द्वारा संकेत: कैमरा ऑपरेटर हेडसेट या ईयरपीस से मीटिंग का ऑडियो चालू (कमरे के स्पीकर से नहीं), और जैसे ही मेज़बान (होस्ट) संकेत दे, कैमरा वैसे ही घुमाएँ (चौड़ा शॉट → दर्शकों पर पैन → वापस चौड़ा शॉट) जैसे पूर्वाभ्यास (रिहर्सल) के दौरान किया था। कैमरा कब हिलाना है, इसका संकेत मेज़बान (होस्ट) की आवाज़ है। हाथ हिलाकर संकेत नहीं दिया जाएगा।
• कार्यक्रम से पहले कैमरा हिलाने का अभ्यास करें (चौड़ा शॉट → दर्शकों पर पैन → चौड़ा शॉट), ताकि कैमरा ऑपरेटर, संकेतों और समय से परिचित हो जाए।
